Automobiles in German Town Discovered Smeared with Swastikas in Human Blood, Law Enforcement State

Officers stated they were notified by a resident who noticed a car in Hanau smeared with red-colored substance

Approximately fifty automobiles have been smeared with what appears to be blood from a person in the German town of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, police confirm police.

Automobiles, building surfaces and postal boxes were vandalized, in some cases with swastikas, they stated in a release.

Law enforcement report they were alerted during the night on Wednesday night, when a resident observed that a automobile in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been marked with a reddish-hued substance.

The fluid had been drawn in the form of a banned symbol, they stated.

Police then located numerous other marked cars and house walls in the adjacent neighborhood.

These symbols are prohibited in Germany under regulations banning the public display of Nazi symbols.

Officials say early analysis suggest the substance was most likely blood from a person.

"Currently there is no lead as to where it came from; officials are currently not cognizant of any physical harm in association with the incident," they commented.

Local authorities stated they were trying "to solve the case" and have appealed to the community for tips.

An important official said the vandalism left him speechless and needed to be addressed rapidly.

"This event hits the center of Hanau and revives the wounds of the right-wing attack in 2020," he stated on social media, recalling the killing of nine victims by a shooter aiming at individuals of immigrant origin in five years prior.
